The Vandals, MY IDAHO VANDALS, are 3-1 for the first time since the big sky days.  It's been 10 years since the vandals had a winning season, and 15 years since they started out 3-1.

Our QB, Nathan Enderle, is rated 30th and 31st in yards, completions, and passing efficiency.  One of our THREE feature backs has got 5 rushing touchdowns, tied for 4th in the nation (behind all the other ties).  We are rated 9th in the nation in 3rd down efficiency.  Our defense is rated 28th in the nation against the run.  And we haven't faced a FCS team.  In fact, the only team we lost to was UW.

Now, i'm TOTALLY the kind of person who says 'i told you so.'  Anybody wants to doubt the Vandals are on the right track, go look at the numbers.

3-1

You were right VandalBacon and I am so glad you were. The Vandals are 3-1 and off to a fantastic start.

Enderle and our offense are looking awesome so far this season and our defense has pulled off many upsets.

The stats you listed are very encouraging and I hope you continue to post them as the season continues.

WOW - can you believe the progress from last season!

Go Vandals.

About Rivalry
Being a vandal fan is hard. Quit smirking and giggling. There's been a million other fans who waited for years for their teams to come around and deliver a golden season. The Tampa Bay Ray fans know what I'm talking about. So does any seahawk or Mariner fan from the 80's. So it's equally hard rooting for our arch rival, the dreaded BSU Broncos, or as we lovingly refer to them, the Donk's. We say anyone who lives in Boise is from the COU (center of the universe) for the attitude that they posess. They are boistrously obnoxious, and painfully back their hometown team to the point of easily qualifying for the nations most irritating fans. And I picked them to win the Poinsettia Bowl. Really? You could only score 1 touchdown? The one time all year I root for you, knowing full well that your victory will propel me up the standings in my bowl challenge pick-em, you fail me? Thanks, BSu. Thanks for nothing.
